Woolly “Paper” Chain Kit

Bring a touch of cosy, old-fashioned charm to your festive decorating with this Woolly “Paper” Chain Kit – a playful, tactile twist on the classic paper chain we all remember from childhood. This version is soft, reusable, organic, and made to last for many seasons to come.

What’s Inside

  • 3 × 25g balls of Kremke Merry Merino 140
GOTS certified organic wool – soft, springy, and beautiful to knit with.

  • Your choice of two traditional festive colourways:

    • Modern: clean, crisp red, green, and white

    • Vintage: slightly softer, nostalgic shades

  • Full printed pattern, with clear step-by-step instructions

What You Can Make

Your kit includes enough yarn to create approximately 5–6 knitted chain links in each colour, giving you a finished garland of around 1.2m (depending on how you drape or stretch it).

  • Expect up to 1.2m if hung with a little gentle swag. Please note my sample woolly chain in the photo is half the length your kit will make.

  • Or around 1m if pinned halfway to create two even swags

Do I need to block my chains?
No. The sample is unblocked, and blocking is not necessary.

How long does it take?
Most knitters can complete a link in under 25 minutes, making it a perfect “little and often” project.
