Shipping
We aim to process all orders within 2 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has been processed. We use Royal Mail Tracked services and a tracking number will be included in the shipping confirmation email. We use a collection service so usually the Postie will collect your parcel the morning after you receive your shipping confirmation email but occasionally we will catch him on the same day. This will show on your tracking.
The only potential delays are due to an unexpectedly high volume of orders, illness or postal service problems that are outside of our control.

In-store pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup on Saturdays at Chesterblade Hills near Shepton Mallet. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up the following Saturday. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
Our in-store pickup hours are 10am - 4pm on Saturdays from All About The Yarn wool shop. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
International Shipping
We offer tracked international shipping up to 2kg including packaging only.
Please note that we are unable to predict what extra customs or VAT charges may be applied in your own country. It is possible your order will incur extra charges. Please bear this in mind when placing your order - these charges are down to the authorities where you live so it is best to consult the rules of your own country before placing your order. We are not a VAT registered company so UK taxes will not be removed from our prices.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. All About The Yarn is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 14 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email in the UK, or 28 days outside the UK, please contact us at info@allabouttheyarn.co.uk with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you. Unfortunately we cannot report a parcel as lost with Royal Mail before those time frames.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 14 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible and within 2 days of receipt at info@allabouttheyarn.co.uk with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
