A set of five hand-dyed mini skeins inspired by warm, woodland-leaning tones – soft, earthy shades drawn from hedgerow and hearth. Each colour has been dyed in a small batch using gently prepared botanical dyestuffs gathered from my own kitchen or on local walks, creating subtle, natural variation and a beautifully cohesive palette.
This beautiful merino/silk/yak yarn base is not one I plan to stock regularly, so this is a one-off, very limited batch.

Colour Notes
These shades were created using individual dyebaths of calendula petals, onion skins, acorns, and avocado pits/skins, combined with a natural undyed skein for balance. Expect gentle semi-solids, tonal depth, and the slight character shifts that make botanical colour so distinctive.

Care
Hand wash gently in cool water with wool wash. Lay flat to dry. As with all naturally dyed yarns, store away from direct light to keep colours at their best.
A Note About Natural Dyeing
Botanical dyeing produces colour with life and nuance. Small variations between skeins are normal and part of the charm of working with plant-based palettes. All skeins have been fully rinsed, washed, and were mordanted with alum for good colour longevity.
