A luxurious sport weight (sits between a 4-ply and DK weight) with a high silk content that makes a lovely, lightweight fabric. Perfect all year round. The silk gives an appealing dry quality rather than slippy and the wool content gives a bit of bounce.

Recommended needle size 3-4mm.
The suggested gauge is 19st x 30r over 10cm.
I am a fairly tight knitter and I achieved this gauge on a 5mm needle. The fabric at this gauge is lovely and drapey so you could definitely go for a firmer gauge and still have a nice fabric for garments. A very flexible yarn.
Sadly this gorgeous yarn has been discontinued by BC Garn. Snap it up whilst you can because I absolutely loved working with this!
