The KnitPro umbrella swift is made from natural beech wood. This is a lovely quality swift and is the one we use in the shop.
The KnitPro swift is adjustable meaning that you can use it to hold almost any length of skein when winding your yarn into a ball. The swift clamps onto the side of your table with an adjustable clamp to allow for different thicknesses of the table top. It has a lovely smooth action as it turns and you can either wind your yarn into a ball straight off it by hand or link your yarn to a ball winder which does the work for you.
