Aimée Gille is well known as the yarn dyer behind La Bien Aimée and her worsted weight yarn is used here as inspiration for 10 designers.
Worsted weight is generally equivalent to an aran weight yarn in the UK but often a heavy double knit yarn can be substituted. The best thing to do is look at the gauge and see if that suits the yarn you have in mind, bearing in mind the sort of drape you would like your fabric to have. Sweaters and cardigans are graded into various sizes, reaching from size 1 (30” / 75 cm bust circ.) to at least size 8 (or 65” / 165 cm bust circumference).
