Of course these are perfect for socks, but there is nothing to stop you using them in other projects such as mitts, hats or shawls. The merino/nylon blend is super soft and feels really luxurious!
Suggested needle/hook size 2.25mm - 3.25mm depending on your project and your tension. Generally socks are made on smaller needles/hooks than would usually be used for a yarn because it gives a firmer fabric.
Suggested gauge: 28-32 stitches over 10cm
Ball weight/yardage: 100g (2 x 50g) = 400m (so 200m in each 50g cake)
Fibre Content: 75% Extrafine SW Merino/25% Nylon
We would always recommend you handwash your knits but these can go in a machine wash on gentle at 30C. Do not tumble dry.
