Skein Queen Hand-Dyed Yarn Pop-Up Shop This Saturday 11th June!
Are you here for the yarn sale preview? I put the wrong link at the top of the email! Sorry!
Just two sleeps to go till Skein Queen Saturday! I might be a little bit excited!
This Saturday Rachel of Skein Queen Hand-Dyed Yarns will be joining us all day (10am - 4pm) for a Pop-Up Shop and is bringing a selection of her gorgeous yarns including lovelies that wouldn't usually be available in shops.
I love Skein Queen yarns for the quality of the yarn bases and the beautifully balanced and saturated hand-dyed colours. Whether you want something soft and subtle or a bright, rich zinger of a colourway there's always a Skein Queen yarn or two (or twenty) that you will fall in love with.
I'll be spending the next couple of days getting ready for our royal visitor and I may even be brave and bake cup cakes for the occasion (or I might cheat and buy some, either way there'll be cake!).
I'm hoping the weather will be kind to us as then we'll be able to put some chairs outside if anyone wants to stay and knit and crochet.
We'll have our ball winder and swift set up so you can wind your yarn into a ball there and then and get knitting straight away if you want to. All we ask in return for use of the equipment is a donation of £1.00 to our charity pot (donations will go to Asylum Aid).
If you can't join us in person then keep an eye on our social media for photos and (if we're feeling brave) maybe even a video or two. I've placed an order with Rachel for my own shop stock so any that is left after Saturday I will photograph and list on the website early next week.
Details about our wonderful new location of Chesterblade Hills and how to find us can be found here.
