Thoughtful Gifts, Available Instantly

If the last posting dates have passed, there are still genuinely thoughtful ways to give a lovely gift this Christmas – without relying on the post.

Whether you’re choosing for a knitter or crocheter, or quietly planning something for yourself, these options are available instantly and give the recipient something to enjoy well beyond the festive rush.

Digital Gift Vouchers

A digital gift voucher is a flexible, considered option if you’re not quite sure what to choose.

Vouchers are delivered instantly by email and can be forwarded directly to the recipient or printed at home to tuck into a card. They can be used on anything in the shop – yarn, kits, patterns or workshops – and are a lovely way to plan a visit or a project together in the New Year.

It’s a gift that gives choice, without feeling hurried.

A Place on a Workshop

Giving an experience can be just as special as giving something physical.

A place on one of our workshops is something to look forward to in the New Year – time set aside for learning, making, and enjoying a few hours of creative focus. Workshops are relaxed and friendly, and designed for new knitters and crocheters, and those who already have the basics and want to build confidence or try something new.

If you’re unsure which workshop would suit, a digital gift voucher allows the recipient to choose what feels right for them.

Digital Knitting Patterns

If you’re buying for a knitter, a digital pattern can be a very thoughtful gift – especially for someone who enjoys choosing their own yarn and casting on in their own time.

I currently have two of my own digital patterns available, both with links to video tutorials for the techniques used, to help knitters feel supported and confident:

  • Fresh Shoots Socks – a satisfying sock pattern with a simple but interesting design

  • Tulip Shawl – an elegant shawl pattern that works beautifully with a wide range of yarns

Patterns are delivered instantly by email and can be printed at home or saved for later. They also pair very nicely with a handwritten note, or an IOU for yarn to go with them.

All of these options work well printed at home or written as a simple IOU to pop into a card. And if you’re choosing for yourself, they’re also a lovely way to plan a quiet January project or learn a new skill once the festivities are over.

If you’re unsure which option might suit best, you’re always welcome to get in touch – I’m very happy to help. info@allabouttheyarn.co.uk
