A Very Merry Stitchmas Has Begun!
As the frost arrived this week, I’ve found myself leaning happily into all things festive – stitching, making, wandering with my camera, and pulling out my new favourite woolly hat.
The Merry Stitchmas Hat
I knit myself The Merry Stitchmas Hat last Christmas (finishing it during Nunney Christmas Market last year) and I love it so much, I've made it into a pattern and kit in time for Christmas 2025! I have half-a-dozen kits in stock of this quick, easy project in gorgeous organic eco wash Merry Merino 70 (the chunky version of our popular Merry Merino 140 range).
The kit includes 1 ball each of Kremke Merry Merino 70 chunky merino wool in Wool White and Tomato Red. There's a Miles Tea West Country Tea Bag popped in as an extra little treat for a relaxed afternoon crafting and the little bundle of festive joy is wrapped in Christmassy tissue paper making this a perfect gift (to a friend or to yourself!).
I'm at Nunney Makes again this year (Saturday 29th November 10am - 3pm), so if I have any hat kits left I'll bring them with me along with other festive needlecraft kits and some yarny bits and bobs! And if you're not local, don't worry – everything I'm taking is available online.
In a flurry of festive making, I've also finished my lovely little Robin felt craft kit by Corinne Lapierre, whipped up a super-quick Let It Snow cross-stitch kit by Cotton Clara.

Festive Event Coming Up!
If you like my Corinne Lapierre Robin (who wouldn't!?), and are local to our Somerset shop, you might be interested in a lovely, Christmassy get-together I'm organising on Saturday 20th December. Not a class or workshop as such, more of a festive make-along with like minded people and good, home-cooked festive food. Participants will enjoy 10% off in the shop on the day, so it could also be a good opportunity for some last-minute Christmas shopping for crafty friends and family. I'm just finalising all the details before sending out an email with all the details, so if you don't subscribe to my emails yet – make sure to do so at the bottom of this page!
If you’d like to add a little festive making to your November, you’ll find the Robin, cross stitch, and Merry Stitchmas Hat kits all waiting for you in the shop.
