NEXT STEPS CROCHET: Fingerless Mitts (materials included)
Spend the morning with Janet Friel in the beautiful countryside setting of Chesterblade Hills learning to crochet a pair of cosy fingerless mitts. You’ll work in the round, practise increasing and decreasing for a neat fit, and gain confidence following a written pattern – all using Janet’s own design.
Once you’ve mastered the basic mitten shape, Janet will guide you through ways to personalise your project with different edging and embellishment techniques.
We’ll provide tea, coffee, cake/biscuits and plenty of encouragement. Please let us know any dietary requirements in advance.
Skills required: Basic crochet (making and working into a foundation chain, double crochet stitch).
Materials provided: 50g of DK yarn (with extra for edging/embellishment) and a 3.75mm crochet hook.
