Riverknits BFL Superwash 4ply British Bluefaced Leicester Hand-Dyed Yarn

This Riverknits hand-dyed 4-ply weight British BFL superwash yarn has a high twist so can be used for socks if you are trying to avoid nylon content in your sock yarn.

BFL stands for Bluefaced Leicester, a British breed of sheep that is renowned for its soft wool - sometimes known as the British Merino. 

Riverknits have transitioned to a non-superwash version of this yarn (Nene 4ply) so once this is gone, it's gone!

Riverknits hand-dyed yarns are so vibrant and beautiful. Becci and Markus live on a canal boat and have a dye studio up in the Midlands. I recommend a visit if you ever get the chance! They are passionate about British Wool and have started sourcing all their wool themselves and having them processed in the UK - hence this yarn being discontinued.
